Barbara Cravenor

ZANESVILLE Barbara Alice Cravenor 82 of Zanesville went home to be with the Lord on Mothers Day, Sunday May 8, 2016 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her family. She was born on January 29, 1934 in Muliken, Michigan to the late Everett and Sara Arbogast Echelberry. Barbara was a long time member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church and Christian Fellowship of Nashport. Barbara devoted her life to helping and serving others, not only was she a wonderful mother and grandmother, she was very active in the community volunteering. She was a Brownie Troop leader, Cub Scout leader, and started the Y-City Baseball league. No matter how busy Barbara was she always had time to Pray with people and send them cards. She was a switchboard operator and a health care worker for 27years. She is survived by two sons: Randy Cravenor of Zanesville and Rick (Mary) Cravenor of Cambridge, two daughters: Lisa "Butch" Fracker of Mt. Perry and Lori Miller of Wheaton, Illinois, a sister Shirley "Mont" West of Zanesville, 11 grandchildren: Shawn, Christa, Roger, Jason, Melissa, Justin, Matthew, Michael, Jared, Kara, and Kaleigh, and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband Wilbur Cravenor, a son Rod Cravenor, three sisters: Lois Bost, Jean Crawford, and Doris Campbell, and also a grandson Dr. Robbie Cravenor, D.O. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Christian Fellowship Church Food Pantry, 8840 Black Run Road, Nashport, OH 43830. Calling hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Tuesday May 10 and one hour prior to services at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 12pm (Noon) on Wednesday in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Gene Branham officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Township Baptist Cemetery.
