Ruben Stewart

ZANESVILLE Ruben Gene Stewart, 76 of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday April 5, 2016 at Genesis Hospital. He was born December 12, 1939 in Caldwell a son of the late Stanley and Belva Lucille Foster Stewart. Throughout his working career Ruben worked at Mosaic Tile, United Technologies, Genesis Security and was a dedicated employee of Snouffer Funeral Home. He was a member of Unity Church of Nazarene in South Zanesville. Ruben is survived by his wife Faye Bell Stewart; one son Gary (Vonda) Stewart of New Concord; three daughters Janet (David) Fogle, Jean (Roger) Tinon both of Zanesville and Natalie Stewart of Morgantown, WV; 10 grandchildren Crystal, Marsha, Angela, Tim, Justin, Caleb, Hannah, Elisabeth, Matthew and Nathan; 10 great grandchildren Mason, Chloe, Raegan, Cali, Kerrington, Carter, Claire, Lyla, Makenna and Cohen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by seven brothers Cliffton, Byrl, Myron, Lester, Warner, Glenn and Charles; two sisters Eileen Ball and Donna Randolph and one great granddaughter Maddie Berry. Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday April 8, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 10: 00am Saturday, April 9, 2016 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Walt Gessner and Rev. Tom England officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
