ZANESVILLE
Alpha Lee Coles Morgan, PhD 74 passed away on December 27, 2018 in Columbus. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on December 19, 1944 to the late Dr. Alfred and Lenora Adams Coles.
She graduated from Ohio University, was a member of the Ohio University Alumni and Odyssey of the mind. She was a Talented and Gifted teacher at Duncan Falls and Reynoldsburg. Alpha hosted exchange students for many years and extensively traveled the world. Alpha was well known for her catering business known as Katering Citchen, her food was enjoyed by many people across the state as well as the country.
She is survived by a son Ryan (Todd) Morgan; a daughter Monica (Shawn) Morgan-Edmunds; a sister Dr. Cindy Coles and a very special niece Karen McKee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph “Senor” Morgan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
