McCONNELSVILLE
Bessie Marie Caton, 92, of Reynoldsburg formerly of McConnelsville passed away on April 23, 2019 in Columbus.
She was born in Toronto, Ohio on May 2, 1926 to the late Samuel and Martha Lescallette Budd. She was a housewife and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in McConnelsville. Her passion in life was aviation; she became the first female from Morgan County to obtain a pilot’s license in 1965.
She is survived by a daughter Nan C. Rzasa of Gahanna, Ohio; a son Mark W. Caton of Atlanta, Georgia; a longtime friend Francis E. Williams of Zanesville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Matthew C. Caton who passed away in 2006.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2PM Friday, June 14 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. She will be laid to rest in Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie, Indiana.
