Betty J. Addis, 89 of Zanesville, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. She was born November 21, 1927 in New Concord, to the late Frank M. and Alma E. Cain Morgan.
She is survived by two sons: Richard “Rick” (Karen) Addis and Lester “Scott” (Brandi) Addis of Springfield; two daughters: Cheryl C. Tignor and Kathy J. (Bill) Taisey; a sister Ruth Morgan Bonifield; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lester Addis; a son Donald Addis; a son in law Abe Tignor; five brothers: Charles Morgan, David Morgan, Merle Morgan, Clarence Morgan and Bruce Morgan; and two sisters: Ruby Paul and Winnie Carrol.
Calling hours will 12 to 1PM, Monday, September 11, 2017 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will proceed at 1PM in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
