Carl Dresbach Obituary

Zanesville

Carl Dresbach, 92, passed away at Sycamore Hospital in Dayton, OH on January 14, 2019.

Carl is survived by his devoted wife Delores Dresbach, his three children, Russell "Rusty" I. Dresbach, Christy Smith, and Tracy Vita, his four grandchildren, and his eldest sister Celia Zeigler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Iva Mae and Walter Dresbach, and his siblings, Ralph Dresbach, Genevieve Cramer, Louise Benson, Blanche Downs, and Fred Dresbach.

Born on March 27, 1926 at his family farm in Ross County, Carl graduated from Centralia High School and served in WWII. He married his high school sweetheart, and they recently celebrated their 72nd anniversary. After retiring from managing the Maysville Dairy Queen, Carl and Delores enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, and spending winters with family in the Florida Keys. Carl loved feeding the birds and riding his lawn mower in the tree-filled yard of their Zanesville home that he built himself.

In keeping with Carl's wishes, there will be a private family gathering in lieu of funeral services.
