Eileen Esther Shumate Hutchins Moore, 94, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was born March 3, 1923 to the late Arthur and Amelia Danhauer Shumate. She was a graduate of Lash High School. Eileen was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, VFW and Eastern Star #485. She was employed as a decorator for several local potteries and retired from Muskingum County Home as a Nursing Assistant.
She is survived by a daughter Diana Hutchins; two grandchildren: Alisa (Agusto) Filipe and Nadia (Marcus) Claxton; four great grandchildren: Kayla Claxton, Aylssa Claxton, Isabella Filipe and Colby Filipe; and a brother Arthur James Shumate.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Delford Hutchins; her second husband James G. Moore; and a step son Donald Lee Hutchins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 128 S. Seventh St., Zanesville, OH 43701.
