Henry Thomas Long

Henry Thomas Long, 82 of Zanesville passed away Sunday January 7, 2018 at The Oaks at Northpointe.  He was born August 14, 1935 in Zanesville a son of the late Frank and Frances Musselman Long.

He was retired from Zanesville Fire Department and Long’s Tree Service and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and  loved nature.  Henry served his country and protected our freedoms while serving in The United States Navy.

Henry is survived by his wife Donna Long; two sons Robert Long and Doug (Kim) Long; three daughters Tammy Basing, Debbie (Randy) DesJardine and Kelly (Dan) Martin; three step children Jay (Nancy) Clifton, Kathleen McCabe and Curtis (Kelly) Clifton; three brothers Jack (Pam) Long, Jim (Patty) Long and Joe (Kay) Long; two sisters Lorna Morgan and Imelda (Frank) Scurlock.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters Rita, Dorthea, Margaret Ann and Theresa and one brother Bill Long; one grandson Kenny Kelso.
