James C Robbins

ZANESVILLE

James C. Robbins, 92 passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was born November 11, 1925 in Vernon, TX to the late Russell C. and Florence M. Jeffers Robbins. James owned and operated Centre Supply and Centre Equipment in New Philadelphia, OH.  He served our country and protected our freedoms while serving in the United States Army during World War II.

He is survived by many friends.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Eva Kathleen Cain Robbins, whom passed away September 28, 2010 and his beloved dog Katie.

His close friends ask that memorial contributions be made to Genesis Hospice Morison House, 713 Forest Ave, Zanesville, OH 43701 in memory of James for the compassionate care that was showed to him in his final days.

Calling hours will be held from 10am until time of services at 11a.m. on Saturday October 27, 2018 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.  Burial will follow in Chandlersville Cemetery with full military honors conducted by VFW Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29 Zanesville.
