Janet Edwards, 80, passed away December 30, 2017. She was born June 11, 1937 in Muskingum County to the late Gus and Ruth Frackes Blocksom. Janet was the former owner of the Valley Inn and her passion was attending her grandchildrens sporting events. She was a member of the Zanesville First Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her son Bill (Kathleen) Edwards; a daughter Misti (Randy) Karns; a brother Gus (Kris) Blocksom; seven grandchildren: Mackenzie Griffin, McKal Griffin, Mitchell Griffin; Keegan Karns, Taylor Edwards, Nicholas Edwards and Lucas Edwards; a niece Michelle Stewart; many other nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Edwards; and a sister: Marilyn Powell.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 3 to 6PM at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The service will follow at 6PM with the Rev. Dr. Steve Dupler officiating.
