Dear Deborah and Family,
As a member of the Athens Church of Christ I was very blessed every minute of conversation I was able to have with Jeff. While I didn't know him as well as most, he impacted me as a Christian brother. I always felt a sense of warmth and humor and he offered me so many kind words and prayers. I will miss him so much and never forget the tenderness and love he conveyed when he sang a song at our church. God bless you and comfort you at this very difficult time in your life. My prayers are with you and if I can help in any way please let me know.

Dearest Deborah and children, and the Haught family: My heart is with all of you at a very difficult time in your life. It is so hard losing the very one who means so much to you, whom you have shared your life with, your heart with, your very being with. He has always been there and always helpful to all of you, and to so many others. As you bid him goodbye in this life, those gone before are waving his boat welcome on the other side. I am so thankful for his life and devotion to God. That is the most comforting part you can really hold onto. Deborah, my heart is with you. Losing a husband is so very difficult, so very heart wrenching. God will be with you even in the silences of the morning, the afternoon, and the night. God will sustain you. My love to you, if you need someone just write me on FB. My prayers go out to all of you. God bless you, your children, the family, and all those who knew Jeffrey and loved him. Betty

How I appreciate all the years Jeff worked with us and me in the church and bus routes at Norval Park - he lit up the days with sunshine and spread love with each heart that knew him. I will miss his wonderful encouraging smile and hand gesture of hello every time I saw Him. I remember him coming to Jack and my wedding day some 38 years ago! What a great friend and spirit. Your are all in my thoughts Lesta, Kathy, Mark, and Deb Jacob and Lily all of you I remember with fondness.

Thank you, Kathy. Jeffrey really enjoyed his co-workers and would report on the little ways he teased all of you.
