ZANESVILLE
Joseph Steven Ambrose, 74, of Zanesville passed away on December 17, 2018 at his residence following a long illness. He was born in Zanesville to the late Joseph and Christine Salahub Ambrose. He was a member of Immanuel Church of downtown Zanesville. Joe was employed by McGraw-Edison, Haliburton, and was the owner of Sunray Gardens Lawn care and Landscaping.
He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Slack Ambrose; a son Jamey (Jodi) Ambrose; a daughter Jennifer (Jamie) Ray; six grandchildren: Monty (Kailyn), Madison, Joey, Jaci, Jake, and Jesse; one great granddaughter Annalee; and a basset hound Daisey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Kathleen Taylor and Joanne Tewksbary.
Private services will be observed by the family.
