ZANESVILLE
On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, Keith Douglas Stotts, loving husband, wonderful father, and faithful friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 54 following a brief and sudden illness. He was surrounded by his close family.
“Doug” had a passion for life and adventure. Always up for a long motorcycle ride with his wife, Mendy, some of his closest friends, or even by himself, just to take in the fresh air and the view. He loved his job and took great pride in his business, Zanesville Blasting, the company he started from scratch that afforded him life long clients that so often turned into close friendships. He was known for his infectious smile, quick wit, contagious laugh and his capacity to love. Doug never met a stranger.
Wonderful groups he belonged to: Anchor Lodge #283 Duncan Falls, Knights Templar, York Rite, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason, Amrou Grotto, Shriner, and Eastern Star Olive Branch #251.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, Harmon Dale Stotts and a grandson, Huxton Douglas Stotts.
He was survived by his loving wife and best friend Mendy Stotts; two children: Brittany Stotts and Drew Stotts; his mother Twyla (Don) Jenkins; step mother Cathy Stotts; five siblings: Rodney, Sonya, Stacey, Kyle and Caela; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Friends may call from 12 to 6PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Masonic services will be held at 6pm conducted by Anchor Lodge #284 followed by the funeral with Pastor Tim Gainor officiating.
