Larry Richard Nolan

ZANESVILLE

Larry Richard Nolan I, 76 of Zanesville passed away on Sunday March 25, 2018 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. 

Larry was born in Marietta, Ohio on August 24, 1941 to the late Loren and Lucille Roach Nolan.  Larry retired from Balderson Motor Sales after 50 years of dedicated employment.  He took great pride in his job as well as his community by being a long time member of the Zanesville Athletic Boosters where he was all things ZHS and a dyed in the wool Blue Devil, and a 34 year member of the Thursday night golf league at Green Valley that is now known as the Larry Nolan Memorial golf league.  Larry was a long time member of Coburn United Methodist Church and served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Carol Welsh Nolan, two daughters Teresa (Joe) Hennessy and Tina (Brian) Murphy, a son Larry R. (Kelly Beck) Nolan II, three grandchildren: Keely (Matt Darnold) Hennessy, Lyndsey (Ronny) Jarrett, and Taylor (Shanya Grannon) Murphy, and special friends Tonia (Seth) Brock.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8PM on Tuesday March 27 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OHIO.  Funeral services will be at 11am on Wednesday in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Justin Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Full Military honors.
