ZANESVILLE

Lawrence Leslie Leifried, 82 passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. He was born May 22, 1936 in San Francisco, CA. Larry attended Alto School in Mill Valley, Californa. He was employed as an electronic engineer contracted to the Federal Aviation Administration. He was an employee of Lockheed Martin. He was a soccer coach and referee. Lawrence served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Navy and the Los Alimitos Naval Air Station in California. He enjoyed playing trumpet in Show Bands Chorus Line and Damn Yankees, ham radio, and Swimming. He had a role in the 1989 movie Always produced by Stephen Spielberg.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Kelso Thomas Leifried; a son Carl Leifried; two daughters: Bonnie Xiggores and Tamara McLachlan; eight grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
