ZANESVILLE
Marilyn Lorraine Poole Ward 91, went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2018 at 12:30pm at the Oaks at Bethesda.
She was born April 4, 1927 in Zanesville to the late Ralph and Hazel Taylor Eppley. She was born again when she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1944.
Marilyn worked as a bookkeeper for Black Springs until she became a Pastor’s wife. She was much loved by her family, friends, church family, and was a member of Coshocton Church of the Nazarene and attended Northside Nazarene Church.
She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Douglas) Allbright of Nashport; three step sons: Rev. Stephen (Thais) Ward of Mt. Vernon, Rev. Stanley (Lucinda) Ward of Dayton and Rev. Nathan (Dixie) Ward of Wooster; a step daughter Priscilla (Dr. Lemoyne) Pringle of Indianapolis, IN; 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and nine nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband William Poole; her second husband Pastor Roger Ward; a brother Robert Eppley; two sisters: Ruth Sullivan and Phyllis Olden; and three great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Oaks at Bethesda and Hospice of Central Ohio for the wonderful care they provided.

Calling hours will be 6-8 pm on Tuesday April 24 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday in the Snouffer Chapel with Stephen, Stanley, and Nathan Ward and Dr. James Miller officiating.
