Marilyn Sue Eddy Wilson, 75 passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018. She was born December 28, 1942, in Comfort, WV, to the late Chester and Helen Jarrell Eddy. Marilyn taught English at Malta McConnelsville Junior High and Morgan High School. She was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by three children: Karl Wilson, Stephen (Kelly) Wilson and Veronica Dawn (Keith) Wilson Armstrong; four step children: Carolyn (Billy Joe) Raike, Daryl (Loretta) Wilson, James (Patti) Wilson and Lois Wilson; fourteen grandchildren: Duke Johnson, Darcy Gahegan, Hoyt Johnson, Heather Westfall, Tracy Gostrue, Seth Wilson, Sam Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Hannah Rodriguez, Eli Wilson, Amanda Riffle, Amber Estock, Doug Wilson and Bradley Wilson; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband J. Loren Wilson; a sister, Phyllis McKinny; granddaughter, Annie Wilson; a niece, Connie Childress; great grandson, Jeremy Westfall and a great great granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 10AM, Thursday, August 9 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, with Melissa Wood officiating. The family requests that you wear bright colors.

In lieu of flowers, Marilyn’s request was to spend an hour at an elementary school reading to the children.
