ZANESVILLE
Ramona Ann Long 82 of Zanesville passed away on Saturday April 7, 2018 in Zanesville. She was born on June 4, 1935 in Chester, West Virginia to the late Joseph and Florence Sayre Blankenship. Ramona had a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing and was employed as a Registered Nurse at Twin Valley Psychiatric Hospital in Columbus. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with her family, and was a friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by a son David Raffa; five daughters: Michele (Rick) Ritzer, Denise (Dave) Raffa-Rosser, Kim Raffa, Maryann Crank, and Kimberly Long; two sisters: Becky Blankenship and Gloria Jean Schondelmayer; four grandchildren: David (Angela), April (Joe), Tabatha, and Chase; and three great-grandchildren: Bryce, Ava, and Jackson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward H. Long who passed away on June 10, 2006 and six siblings.
