ZANESVILLE

Richard Bartlett Williams,86, of Zanesville passed away on Thursday April 25, 2019 at his residence following a brief illness.

Richard was born on January 6, 1933 in Madison County, Ohio to the late Luther and Bertha Goins Williams.

He was former mechanic for Teledyne in Springfield, truck driver, and delivered for Shrivers Pharmacy where he really enjoyed working for Randy Shrivers and John Coler. Richard served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the United States Marines.

He is survived by a son Keith Williams, two daughters: Deborah (Jason) Worden and Diane Ford, a sister Donna Martin, three grandchildren: Jessica (Tim) Gibson, Raven, and Amile and one great grandson: Myles.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Anna McCarty Williams and Teresa Roberts.

Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Monday April 29 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Pastor Donnie Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery with full military honors.
