Virginia R. (Kirkbride) Dovenbarger

ZANESVILLE

Virginia R. Dovenbarger, 68 of Zanesville left this world on Friday, November 10, 2017 after an extended illness at Adams Lane Care Center. Virginia was born September 14, 1949, a daughter of the late Walter and Inez Green Kirkbride. She was a stay at home mom, enjoyed gospel and country music and her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Don; three daughters: Tresa Dovenbarger, Angela (Arnold) Hosey and Virginia (Earl) Brown; step son Curtis Dovenbarger; step daughter Tammy (Mark) Yeagle; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a sister Marie (Robert) Sealey; and two brothers: Alfred (Violet) Kirkbride and Robert (Vicki) Kirkbride.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers: Walter Kirkbride and David Kirkbride.

Calling hours will be held 6 to 8PM, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE.  Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, November 16, 2017 in the Snouffer Chapel with Bishop Terry Rowland officiating.  Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
