Virginia “Jinny” Mae Cable, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She was born March 17, 1928 in Zanesville to the late Laurence L. and Ida E. Livingood McBride. Jinny was a member of the Faith Christian Center and employed as a machine operator at Mid Atlantic Canners.
She is survived by six children: Terrie Gatton, Laura (Gene) Vance, Tom (Vicky) Cable, Kim (Bob) Mihalko, Star (Doug) Pickrell and Lisa Jonard; nine grandchildren: Stacey Fish, Amy (James) Reagan, Bryan (Lori) Vance, Chad (Erin) Cable, Nick (Jamie) Cable, Jeff (Laura) Black Jr., Austin (Jami) Pickrell, Jared (Jessica) Pickrell and Meredith Pickrell; 12 great grandchildren: Cody Emfinger, Jamie Fish, Ryan Fish, Spencer Reagan, Garrett Reagan, Cameron Vance, Makenna Vance, Leah Cable, Lane Cable, Matthew Black, Jason Pickrell and Andrew Pickrell.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jess T. Cable, who passed away September 29, 2005; a son Jan Michael Cable and a granddaughter Marianne Moody.
Calling hours will be held 5 to 7PM Thursday, December 14, 2017, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, where a memorial service will follow at 7PM with Pastor Michael McGuire.
