William "Bill" Taisey Jr.

William (Bill) Taisey Jr., 71 passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at his home. He was born February 12, 1947 in Zanesville to the late William and Virginia Ruth Martin Taisey Sr. He retired from General Electric after 30 years of service and also worked at Longaberger and Pick N’ Save. He served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Army. Bill loved spending time with family and friends, Nascar, pizza and the occasional trip to the casino.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy Addis Taisey; a son Michael Troy Taisey of Springfield; two sisters in law: Cheryl Tignor and Rita Addis; three brothers in law: Rick (Karen) Addis, Scott (Brandi) Addis and Roger Woerner; and 13 nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother in law Lester and Betty Addis; a sister Sandra Woerner; and two brothers in law: Don Addis and John (Abe) Tignor.

Calling hours will be from 12 to 1PM on Wednesday, April 18 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.  Funeral services will begin at 1pm in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
