FRAZEYSBURG
Anna Belle Crabtree, 78, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born November 29, 1943, in Wakeman, OH to the late Ernest and Lula Richardson Godby. She was a 1962 graduate of John Glenn High School and worked at the Beckett House as a cook. She formerly attended East Union Presbyterian Church in New Concord. Anna loved flowers and gardening. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed doing word searches and puzzles.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Robert Crabtree, whom she married September 1, 1963; a daughter Angela F. (Larry) Izer; three brothers: William Godby, Elmer (Margaret) Godby and John (Nancy) Godby; two sisters: Virginia Dailey and Cathy Seeley; a granddaughter Heather Izer; brothers and sisters in law: Kaye (Ron) Miller, Jane Godby, Tom (Connie) Crabtree; Penny Bullock and Mike Wolverton; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons: Ronald F. Crabtree and Shane R. Crabtree; two sisters: Joyce Braido and Phyllis Peck; brother Richard Godby; sister in law Barb Wolverton; and brothers in law John Seeley, Rick Bullock and Mont Peck.
Graveside services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in East Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating.
