Arthur "Paul" Mason Jr.

Arthur “Paul” Mason Jr., 60, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born August 19, 1964, in Zanesville to the late Arthur Paul and Billie Best Mason Sr. Paul graduated from Mid-East Vocational School with a degree in Law Enforcement. He was a former deputy for the Guernsey County Sheriff’s office, cable tv lineman and a volunteer firefighter with Cassell Station Fire Department. He was a member of the Zanesville Bible Methodist Church.

Paul is survived by his daughter Stephanie Michel; his best friend and mother of his daughter Lisa Mason; his sister Patricia Diane (Clarence “Bo” Hickenbottom; two grandchildren: Jaelynn Michel and Brycen Michel; and several other nieces and nephews, including a special nephew Anthony Duncan and special nieces: Autumn Dempsey and Heaven Hickenbottom.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Jackie Duncan.

Calling hours will be from 11AM to 12PM on Saturday, April 26, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL, WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE.  The funeral service will begin at 12PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Titus Byers officiating.  Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
