Austin Frank Eveland

Austin Frank Eveland 27, of Nashport passed away Wednesday May 26, 2021 as a result of an ATV accident.  He was born in Zanesville on December 21, 1993 a son of Robert and Misty  Eveland.  He was a 2012 graduate of Tri Valley High School and Mid-East where he studied carpentry.  He started his career as a Fireman with Falls Township. After receiving his Paramedic License in 2017 he joined Zanesville Fire Department as a Firefighter/Paramedic. Family and Racing was Austin’s Life.

Drag Racing at National Trails Raceway was his passion, however; he was moving on to Drag Strips farther away as opportunities arose.   Austin was the owner of Eveland Auto Sales in Frazeysburg.  He loved to hustle and was a very dedicated hard worker.

Austin had several true friends that he counted on and they do not go unnoticed. A true Patriot who loved his Country, Guns, and Freedom!

Austin is survived by his wife Kayla  Eveland; children Alivia “Baby Jade” Eveland, Holden Robert “Terror” Eveland and Paisley “Rooster” Jordan; brother Dustin “Bub” (Brianna) Eveland; Grandparents Arnetta Morrison, Frank (Karla) Eveland and Linda Eveland; Aunts and Uncles Shane (Sandy) Weaver, Sherrie (Jim) DeVolld, Lisa Eveland, Eric (Karrie) Eveland,  In-Laws Janet (Danny) Crawford and Ken (Beth) Brothers; and his racing family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Zane Weaver and Tom Morrison.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday May 28, 2021 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE.  Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday May 29, 2021 in the Snouffer Chapel with RFC Chaplain Steve Dunn officiating. And will be honored by the Zanesville and Falls Fire Departments.
