ZANESVILLE
Bernard A. Humphrey, 88, of Zanesville passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Genesis Morrison House. He was born August 17, 1932 in Middleport, OH to the late Harold and Levada Bowen Humphrey. He retired from Pennsylvania Railroad after 40 years of service. Bernard enjoyed golfing, fishing and traveling.
Surviving is his wife of 69 years Doris Shipley Humphrey, whom he married June 9, 1951; three sons: David (Nancy) Humphrey of West Jefferson, Dale Humphrey of Ft. Myers, FL and Michael (Erin) Humphrey of Grove City; two daughters: Karen Lewis of Zanesville and Nancy (Tom) Rudolph of Grove City; a brother: Maurice Humphrey of Missouri; a sister Twila of Michigan; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son in law Ed Lewis and a brother James Humphrey.
Burial will take place at a later date in Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
