Bernice Evelyn Hamby, 92, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021. She was born December 22, 1928 in Dresden to the late Sheldon and Gertrude Paynter Crozier. Bernice was a lifelong resident of Dresden and was the owner of Hamby’s Antiques in Dresden for many years.

She is survived by daughters Linda (Larry) Mullins, Sandra (Harley) Hamrick and Betsy (Larry) Frick; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Hamby; brothers: Charles Crozier, Willard Crozier, Dempsey Crozier, Bernard Crozier and Davey Lee Crozier; and sisters: Adeline Ruebush and Christine Crozier.

Graveside services will begin at 1PM Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Dresden Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
