Beth Ann (Paul) Spence

Beth Ann Spence, 68, passed away Monday, June 16, 2026, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born October 10, 1957, in Zanesville to the late Larry L. and Ruby Morgan Paul. Beth was a 1975 graduate of West Muskingum High School. She retired after 25 years as a Teacher’s Aide from the West Muskingum School District. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, reading, ceramics, taking trips, spending winters in Florida and sibling trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years Kenneth “Buzz” Spence, whom she married July 31, 1976; siblings: Rochelle (Tim) Smith, Greg (Laurel) Paul, Eric (Vickie) Paul, Bruce (Lisa) Paul and Larry Joe (Kim) Paul; six grandchildren: Courtney (Mike) Kincaid, Elizabeth Anderson, Janelle Anderson, Hayven Gonzalez, Jaxson (Brooklyn) Spence and Josie Spence; five great grandchildren: Evy, Aiden, Zeke, Lane and Avery; a daughter in law Sarah Spence; a son in law Chuck Moss; sister in law Charlene Spence; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Kyle Spence; her daughter Arielle Moss; her grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 4pm, Saturday, June 20, 2026, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Cremation services will be entrusted to THE SNOUFFER CREMATORY.
