Beverly "Bev" A. (Young) Thompson

ZANESVILLE

Beverly A. “Bev” Thompson, 93, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, at the Oaks at Bethesda. She was born October 2, 1930, in Batemantown, Ohio to the late Herbert M. and Ruth C. (LeFever) Young. She worked for the State of Ohio in the rehabilitation department. Bev was a member of AARP, Public Employees Retirees and loved cats.

She is survived by her son Victor (Marcia) Thompson; a daughter Peggy (Ben) Gordon; six grandchildren: Alicia (Bobby) Buck, Allison Gordon, Ashley Gordon, Justin (Amy) Thompson, Jordan (Jen) Thompson and Chris Thompson; and five great grandchildren: Brendan Buck, Caleb Buck, Hannah Thompson, Carson Thompson and Mila Thompson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry D. Thompson; and a sister Ramona Raubenolt.

Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Zanesville Memorial Park with Rev. Laureen Roe officiating.
