Bobby Lee Pletcher, 83, of South Zanesville, formerly of Deavertown, went to Heaven on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was born on May 8, 1941, in Deavertown to the late Roy Milton and Mildred Cain Pletcher. He was a 1959 Graduate of York High School and a member of Doric Lodge F. & A.M. 172 both in Deavertown. Bob was a member of the Teamsters and was a truck driver for Gould Battery. He enjoyed restoring old tractors, hunting, fishing, gardening, going to Church. Most of all Bob dearly loved his family and was the best husband, father, and grandfather EVER.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, whom he married February 14, 1960, Margie Ann Hill Pletcher; a son Raymond (Donna) Pletcher; a brother Roger Pletcher; two grandchildren: Brad (Missy) Pletcher and Brooke (Troy) Pierce; six great-grandchildren: Bella, A.J., Caleb, Gunner, Allie, and Parker; honorary grandchildren: Rose, Erick, JR and Preston; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he will be reunited in Heaven by a son Mitchell Pletcher; a daughter Sonya Pletcher; a sister Ann Woodward; and three brothers: Russell Pletcher, David Pletcher and Stephen Pletcher.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, from 4-7pm at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Masonic services will be held at 6:45pm.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19 at 1pm in The Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Larry Harper and Pastor Clay Hannum officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, near Roseville.
