Carol Laverne (Welsh) Nolan

ZANESVILLE

Carol Laverne Nolan, 78, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, peacefully in her sleep. She was born December 4, 1943, in Zanesville to the late Don and Mary Margaret Jaynes Welsh. She was a graduate of Zanesville High School and retired from JCPenney, where she worked in the credit catalog department. Carol was a member of Coburn United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed playing cards, walking, taking long car rides, Tim Horton’s cappuccinos and ice cream. Her family was her upmost joy.

She is survived by her children: Teresa (Joe) Hennessy, Tina (Brian) Murphy and Larry (Kelly Beck) Nolan II; four grandchildren: Keely Hennessy, Lyndsey (Ronny) Jarrett, Adley Nolan and Taylor Murphy; and a great grandson Eugene Jarrett.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Nolan I, who passed away March 25, 2018; a brother Don Welsh; and three sisters: Barb Jadwin, Janet Welsh and Jeannie Welsh.

Calling hours will be 1 to 4PM on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OHIO.  Funeral services will be at 11am on Monday, May 16 in the Snouffer Chapel with Reverend Doctor Mark Ballmer officiating.  Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
