Charles "David" Foraker

Charles “David” Foraker, 74, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH.  He was born March 16, 1950, in Zanesville to the late Charles and Isabel Pyle Foraker.  He was a 1968 graduate of John Glenn High School. David was a very hard worker. He worked for Perry Township for many years. He worked in construction and Gabe Department Store, where he later retired from. He enjoyed helping people do things.

He is survived by his children: Melissa (Mike Longfellow) Foraker, Jennifer (Kelly) Rutter and Patrick Foraker, all of Zanesville; four grandsons and a great grandbaby on the way; sisters: Janet (Charles) Hussing, Beverly (Ted) Gates and Pamela Gonzales of Phoenix, AZ; brothers: Mike Foraker, Ray (Abby) Foraker, Jeff Foraker and one sister-in-law, Mary (Chuck) Erbe; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son Joshua Foraker; grandparents Mirl and Mary Foraker and Willis and Nancy Pyle; and a brother Russel Foraker.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 PM Thursday, May 2, 2024, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral will begin at 3 PM with Pastor Johnny Nolan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
