Obituary
Cheryl Lynn Brownfield Saad, age 77 passed away with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 21, 1945, to Lamont and Wanda Brownfield in Canton, Ohio.
Cheryl’s career included work as a bank teller, selling real estate and as a beautician. She belonged to the Chaplain Church of Christ in Robinson, Illinois, and the Norval Park Church of Christ in Zanesville Ohio.
She treasured time with her family and activities with her Beta Sigma Phi sorority sisters. She enjoyed watching westerns, movies and talking politics.
She is survived by her two daughters: Jennifer Saad and Jackie (Todd) Houser; a brother Gregory (Theresa) Brownfield; three sisters: Rose Doyle, Charlotte (Gary) McGuire and Linda Ritterbeck; one grandson Nicholas Atteberry and a step grandson: Gage Houser. She also had many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Cecil Brownfield and Mark Brownfield.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7PM Friday, July 29, 2022, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will be at 11AM Saturday, July 30 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
