Cody Sue (Batteiger) Ross

ZANESVILLE

Cody Sue Ross 61, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at her residence. She was born September 8, 1959 in Zanesville to Donald Eugene and Frances Louise Shultz Batteiger. Cody was a graduate of John Glenn High School. She was a former hairstylist and also worked at Sally’s Beauty Shop. She was a former 4-H advisor and a member of Sonora United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, camping, talking on the phone and Facebook. She was affectionately known as Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her mother Frances Batteiger, she is survived by her husband John Ross; children: Jennifer (Jeff) Alexander, Angela Ross and Jason (Tonyia) Ross; a brother Kenneth E. (Janet) Batteiger; a sister Kimberly K. Hockingberry several nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren: Seth, Natalie, Haley, Jonathon, Chase, Tyler and Zachary; three great grandchildren: Mason, Myloh and Nyleahs; and several adopted bonus grandchildren.

In addition to her father Donald Batteiger; she is preceded in death by her father and mother in law Louis Ross and Dorothy Berkshire.

Calling hours will be 4 to 6 PM Sunday, July 25, 2021 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 26 in the Snouffer Chapel.  Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery in Sonora.
