ZANESVILLE
Cole Anthony Ray, 48, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025. He was born April 22, 1977, in Beverly, Ohio to John Phillip Ray and Joni Kimble Wells.
He was a 1995 graduate of Zanesville High School and worked in the sterilization department at Genesis Hospital. Cole was well known in the area as a disc jockey, enjoyed attending concerts and woodworking.
He is survived by his mother Joni (Garry) Wells; a sister Traci (Chase) McDonald; three stepsisters: Misty Wells, Heather (Drew) Grigsby and Rebecca (Adam) Woytko; three nephews: Kaleb (McKayla) Talbott, Kolton (Tairan) Talbott and Caden (Mattie) Brownfield; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father; aunts: Cheryl Sands, Kaye Tatman and Janet Bushnell; uncle Dean Kimble; and cousin Kraig Seyerle.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 6PM, Monday, May 26, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 11AM Tuesday, May 27, with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, near McConnelsville.
