ZANESVILLE
David Allen Boothe, 64, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. He was born December 2, 1956 in Zanesville to the late Ralph and Rosalie Linger Boothe. He was a graduate of Tri Valley High School and Mid-East Vocational School, where he studied meat cutting. David was a truck driver for 7UP, which later became Kuerig/Dr. Pepper and a member of the Irville Masonic Lodge F & AM. He loved bluegrass music, playing music and building banjos.
Surviving are his wife, Becky Watson Boothe; a son David (Caitlynn) Boothe; a daughter Darcy (James) Hahn; brother Daniel Boothe; four grandchildren: Carsten Hahn, Bryden Hahn, Maddox Boothe and Beau Boothe; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Kris) Bowers, William R. Watson, Bobby (Tara) Watson, Wendy (Jason) Barton, Annette (John) Wilcox, Kevin Watson, Hayley (Joe) Keffer, Bradley Greiner, Breanna Watson, Eric Boothe and Amy (Scott) Lewis.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two grandsons: David James Hahn and Weston James Hahn.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will begin at 1 PM Friday, April 23 in the Snouffer Chapel with Forest “Frosty” Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Irville Cemetery.
