David A Kirkendall

David A. Kirkendall, 63, of Zanesville passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, peacefully at his home. Dave was born on July 7, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Joseph Kirkendall and Hazel Kovaleski Kirkendall. Dave was a 1976 graduate of West Muskingum High School and worked in production at Momentive Performance Materials (formerly General Electric Quartz) where he retired after 36 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, going to the casino with friends and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lori Schmitz Kirkendall; children: Arika (James) Denman and Kelly (Andrew) Wohlgamuth; grandchildren: Kenzie, Riley and Rhett; brothers: Joseph (Rosemary) Kirkendall II, Richard Kirkendall and Daniel (Katrina) Kirkendall; mother-in-law Norma Schmitz; brother-in-law Greg (Mary Jo) Schmitz; sister-in-law Kristine Dibble and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ronald Schmitz.

Calling hours will be from 5-8 PM on Friday, April 1, 2022 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Services will follow on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Snouffer Chapel.
