ZANESVILLE

Delores Jeanette “Dee” Bender, 88, passed away Monday, June 1, 2021, at Genesis Morrison House. She was born September 15, 1932 in Zanesville to the late Edward P. and Charlotte Bridwell Durant. She was retired from Essex Wire, Ceramic Avenue Plant. Delores was known all over the area for her homemade noodles. She enjoyed golfing at Green Valley and was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ.

Surviving are her children: Harvey (Rebecca) Ritchey, Timothy Ritchey, Linda Hayes, Connie (Eric) Tanner and Karen Miller; a sister Patricia Baldwin; 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Bender, who passed away January 18, 2012; two brothers: Charles (Jane) Durant and James (Marjorie) Durant; and a brother in law John “Pinky” Baldwin.

A private family service will be held.
