Ernest Huber Sr. Obituary

Ernest William Huber Sr. 82 of Zanesville passed away on Wednesday December 24, 2025 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

He was born in Coshocton County on July 11, 1943 to the late Ernest and Helen Morosko Huber. He was an electrician for Burnham Foundry/Casting Solutions for many years. Ernest was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed woodworking and was a member of American Legion Post 29 and V.F.W. Post 1058. Ernest served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Laura Duvall Huber whom he married on August 1, 1981, five children: Kathy Huber, Ernest (Katie) Huber Jr., Stephanie Pyles, Kelly (Jerry) Stires, and Juanita (Jeffrey) Maziar, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Phyllis (Larry) Shroyer.

Visitation will be from 3-6pm on Monday December 29 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral service will follow at 6pm in The Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Randy Tayhi officiating. Full Military Honors by V.F.W. Post 1058 will follow. Cremation care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
