ZANESVILLE

Esther “Jane” Edwards, 66, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020. She was born June 17, 1954 in Zanesville to the late Miles and Alice Reed Hodgson. She was a lifelong beautician with The Hairitage, Kali Co. Court, The Clay House and Celia’s. She loved NASCAR and her grandkids. Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandma and best friend.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tom Edwards, whom she married October 7, 1972; daughters: Marcy (Chad) Inman and Mindy (Danny Williams) Edwards; three brothers: Bob (Suzy) Hodgson, Larry (Nan) Hodgson and Terry (Cathy Jo) Hodgson; and five grandchildren: Tyler Edwards-Frick, Alysa Jane Edwards-Frick, Cooper Edwards-Cole, Piper Murphy and Walker Dupler.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Jerry L. Murphy Jr.; niece Emily Hodgson; in-laws Lou (Betty Jane) Edwards; and a brother–in-law Lou Edwards Jr.

Calling hours will be 11AM to 1PM Monday, December 28, 2020 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will begin at 1PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Jack McClelland, favorite nephew-in-law, officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
