Florence Elizabeth (Longshore) Heim

 DRESDEN

Florence Elizabeth Heim, 74, of Dresden passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Genesis Hospital.  She was born October 12, 1946 in Zanesville to the late Charles Vernon and Audrey Tyo Longshore.  She retired after 25 years of service from Dresden Elementary as a Teacher’s Aide and was a member of Meadowview Church of Christ.

Florence is survived by her husband Larry Heim; one son Larry Michael “Mike” (Christin) Heim of Zanesville; one daughter Sherrie Norris of Dresden; one sister Janice (Barry) Stayner of Frazeysburg; three grandchildren: Brianna Norris of Dresden, Adrianne Stewart of Zanesville and Jordan Stewart of Zanesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Meadowview Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Meadowview Church of Christ, 6750 Raiders RD, Frazeysburg, OH 43822.  Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday at the church with Sam Dunn officiating.  Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
