Forrest N. “Pete” Carter Sr. was born May 31, 1945, to the late Forrest Clayton Carter and Nellie Mae Russell Carter, in Warrenton, Virginia. He passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Genesis Hospital. He worked for over 20 years at Autozone Warehouse.
He is survived by his wife Kim Carter; son Forrest N. Carter Jr.; two daughters: Amanda Anderson and Sharon Carter; a stepson Ryan Alan Carter; two sisters: Lois Horstman and Kathy Hilliard; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Adam Clayton Carter; mother-in-law Rosalie Kay Brewer; father-in-law Arthur Merle Brewer; and special niece Brinley Kay Carter.
Calling hours will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the Adamsville Global Methodist Church, 8065 East St. Adamsville, OH 43802. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM with Pastor Pamela Lashley officiating.
