George Herbert Walker Bush, 94, the 41st President of the United States of America passed away on Friday November 30, 2018.
President Bush was born in Milton, Massachusetts on June 12, 1924. He was 17 years old when the attack on Pearl Harbor happened and he put aside his education for the time to enlist in the US Navy becoming one of the youngest Naval Aviators in History.
The love of his life was his family and his country. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather affectionately referred to as “Poppie”, from 1981 to 1989 he served as Vice President and from 1989 to 1993 he served as President of the United States. Following his retirement he devoted a lot of time to Humanitarian efforts.
A reflection of his life will be held at 3pm on Thursday, December 6 in The Snouffer Chapel with Cody Pettit presiding.
