George P. Wilson Jr.

George P. Wilson Jr., 57, of Deavertown, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 11, 1968, in Zanesville to George P. and Linda Hunt Wilson Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Deavertown, where he attended York Elementary School and was a 1988 graduate of Morgan High School. George worked as a carpenter for Delco Construction. He was baptized at the Anchor Church of Crooksville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Lisa McNeish Wilson, whom he married May 6, 1992; three children: Aaron Paul Wilson, Sarah Wilson and Hope Wilson; a brother Jay Wilson; a sister Paula Wilson; father and mother-in-law: Pat and Jean Ann McNeish; five grandchildren: Damian, Saphira, Gabriella, Samual and Elijah.

A private service will held. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, has the distinct honor of serving the family. Cremation care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
