ZANESVILLE
Gerald Steve Raver, 74, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021. He was born November 14, 1946 in Groveport to the late Paul and Beatrice Bevens Raver. He was employed as a house framer and enjoyed fly fishing, races, Southern Championship Wrestling and watching the history channel. He loved his grandchildren. Steve served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Theresa “Teri” Spence Raver; children: Rebecca Daugherty, Steven Raver and Daniel (Lynn) Raver; a brother Paul Raver Jr.; a sister: Barbara Bales and ten grandchildren: Madison, Abbey, Alley, Harmoney, Christina, Dominic, Steven, Matthew, Brennan and Quintin.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Steve Raver Jr.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM, Wednesday, February 3, at Zanesville Memorial Park with full military honors by the American Legion Post #29 and VFW Post #1058.
