HOPEWELL
Gloria June Gard, 86, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at her residence. She was born June 29, 1937, in Zanesville to the late Cormie and Freda Bowen Robinson. Gloria worked as a clerk at Kresgee and Kroger and also employed by Essex Wire.
She is survived by her husband Gilbert Gard; two sons: Gilbert “Gil” Gard II and Bradley (Jennifer) Gard; a daughter Tamara “Tammy” (Ronald) VanDerBeek; three grandchildren: Heather (Tony) Wolford, Heidi (Scott) Caplinger and Katarina (Tyler) Kinney; ten great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren with one due in November.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Donald Robinson and Ronald Robinson; and a sister Betty Robinson Tyo.
Private graveside services will be held at Zanesville Memorial Park with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating.
