ZANESVILLE

Henry E. Wiechert, 85, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at his home. He was born May 14, 1939, in Zanesville to the late Rudolph A. and Betty J. Settles Wiechert Sr. He was retired from Zanesville Mold Company. Henry was a Mason and a member of the Moose Lodge #867. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, playing cards and going to auctions. He served his country and protected our freedom in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Scott Wiechert; a son Timothy J. Wiechert; a daughter Victoria L. Woods; two brothers: Rudolph A. Wiechert Jr. and Gregory P. Wiechert; three sisters: Judith A. Wilson, Jeanine A. Busey and Kristie A. Howard; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and special dogs: Lily and Blue.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry and Carrie Wiechert and Brice and Emma Settles.

Calling hours will be from 11AM to 1PM Monday, October 21, 2024, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Masonic service will be held at 1PM and the funeral service will follow in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Howard officiating.
