Howard Thomas “Tommy” Haller, 89 of Zanesville passed away on Thursday February 20, 2025, at Willow Haven Care Center.
Tommy was born in Del Rio, Texas on April 27, 1935, to the late Elmer Michael and Elizabeth Stallings Haller. He retired from Sun Oil as a Lease Operator. He was a member of Brenham Lodge #120 F.&A.M. of Brenham, Texas where he was Past Master, Doric Lodge #172 F.&A.M. of Deavertown, Ohio, and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in Austin, Texas. Tommy enjoyed Camping and being with his family and friends. He enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Long Horns football teams. Tommy served our country and protected our freedom in the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife Betty Brown Haller; two sons: Frank Haller and Kevin (Renee) Helser; two brothers: Elmer Michael (Patsy) Haller and Bill (Gayle) Haller; a sister Martha Sue Baxter; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Joy Duanne Lummus Haller; a son Frederick Helser; and a daughter Jeanie Haller.
Cremation care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
