Obituary

Jack Lee Hittle, 73, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Genesis Hospital. He was born March 25, 1950, in Zanesville to the late Ray and Thelma Moore Hittle. He was a graduate of Tri Valley High School and was a Diesel Mechanic for J.T. Sands, Lucas Truck Sales and Penske. Jack was a well-known drag racer for many years and loved sharing his stories with his grandchildren. He enjoyed landscaping, muscle cars, fishing, camping and watching football, especially the Steelers. Jack looked forward to his dinners every Wednesday and Friday with his daughter Jackie and family and son in law Ronnie Makhani.

He is survived by his daughters: Jackie (Tim) Harlow and Melissa (Joel) Gallagher; four grandchildren: Joey Hittle, Tristin Bailey, Tyler Harlow and Aasher Makhani; and son in law Ronnie Makhani.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Lee Boyd Hittle, who passed away May 29, 2009; and a daughter Vickie Farquhar.

The family will hold private services. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE has the distinct honor of serving the Hittle family.
