Jacqueline "Jackie" Marie Denton

Jacqueline Marie “Jackie” Denton, 65, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Adams Lane Care Center. She was born August 8, 1958, in Zanesville to the late Loren and Ruth Gibbons Denton. She was a 1976 graduate of Zanesville High School. Jackie worked in the grocery business and also was a bartender and painter. She was an avid reader and loved her cats.  

She is survived by her son Christopher Denton; two brothers: Ernie Denton and Ed Denton; a sister Christy Denton; two grandchildren: Kiley Denton and Aliya Wheeler; and the love of her life Melvin Ray West.

Private family services will be held at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
